Spring is the season of new beginnings. New buds form and bloom on flowers and trees, animals come out of hibernation, and the temperatures begin to rise. The air feels lighter, and the atmosphere is buzzing with a fresh energy. With this energy, many people refresh after the winter months by participating in a long tradition known as spring cleaning.
The outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 caused a worldwide pandemic. As we continue to navigate these unique times, there have been many questions regarding the best practices on stopping the spread of the virus and protecting ourselves and our loved ones.

We are excited to start the COVID-19 vaccine consent process for our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. While we do not yet have the vaccine, we need to be prepared when we do receive it. The CDC states that the vaccination will be an important tool in stopping the spread of COVID-19.
According to Cleveland Clinic, stress is defined as “the body’s reaction to any change that requires an adjustment or response.” These reactions can be physical, mental, or emotional. While stress is how the body adapts to change and is natural, chronic stress can lead to other health problems.
