As a starting point, the Community Senior Life team is answering some of the top senior living questions we receive.

New call-to-actionWhy is an All-Inclusive Community Better Than by Level of Care?

Living in an all-inclusive community means that all of your care and additional services are covered at one monthly rate. On the other hand, communities that offer pricing based on the level of care charge per service.

While only paying for the services you need may sound appealing, something to remember is that you or your family member’s care needs may change over time. Due to the different levels of care a community provides, your cost could double within just a few years.

Even though you may not utilize every care service now, the advantage of living in an all-inclusive community is that as your needs change and you need more care, your rate based on that additional care will not increase.

Why is it Important to be Near Health Resources?

The obvious reason to be near health resources such as hospitals and doctors’ offices is that if any need arises, you can quickly get the necessary care. Our senior living communities in Alabama and Florida work hand in hand with these resources, ensuring you have full access to quality care in the event of an emergency or a routine checkup.

What is the Value of Having Nurses and Care Team Members Available 24 Hours a Day?

Accidents happen, and emergencies occur. Having access to assistance and care at any time of day or night is a significant benefit in a senior living community. With our nurses and caregiving team members available 24-hours a day, you and your family will have peace of mind knowing that there is always assistance available within minutes if any health issue or need arises.

Do Rent Prices Increase Over Time?

Yes, rent prices may increase each year on the residents’ move-in anniversary. However, even though rent may increase annually, this rate will continue to be all-inclusive and cover all of your care services and access to our community amenities.

Can I Visit and Take My Own Measurements of the Apartment?

Of course! We would love for you to visit your desired community and tour your future apartment. Our goal is to help all of our residents feel comfortable and at home in their senior living apartments. By visiting, you and your loved one can envision your lifestyle and plan how you will set up your living space.
